In einer kleinen Serie von Gemälden, zu der Trouillebert beauftragt wurde, malte er um das Jahr 1888 Szenen, die die Erneuerung der Eisenbahnstrecken in und um Paris zum Bildgegenstand haben. Diese Werke stellen auch wichtige Zeitdokumente dar. Das Gemälde » LE CHEMIN DE FER DE CEINTURE : CHARONNE « zeigt Arbeiten am Güterbahnhof in Charonne (Gare de Charonne-Merchandises – Paris). Von diesem wichtigen Gemälde sind derzeit drei Fassungen bekannt.

In a small series of paintings to which Trouillebert was commissioned, around 1888 he painted scenes depicting the renewal of the railway line in and around Paris. These works are also important contemporary documents. The Painting » LE CHEMIN DE FER DE CEINTURE : CHARONNE « shows construction work at the goods station in Charonne (Gare de Charonne-Merchandises – Paris).Three versions of this important painting are currently known.
